06/06/16 - NM 42 Pavement Preservation – Willard to Corona Starting June 6
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin pavement preservation work on NM 42 from mile maker 0.000 to mile marker 35.542 between Willard and Corona. NMDOT maintenance crews will be chip sealing the roadway. This work is scheduled to be completed end of June 2016; weather permitting. Motorists can expect minor delays Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be one lane closures with a flagger and pilot car operation escorting traffic through the work zone. 06/06/16 - I-25 Lane Closures Starting June 6-17 La Bajada Hill
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be crack sealing on the I-25 northbound and southbound lanes from mile marker 265 to mile marker 266.4 near La Bajada Hill. Starting June 6 - 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the northbound and southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane. The speed will be reduced to 55 mph. Read more...

06/06/16 - US 550 Bridge Rehabilitation Projects in San Juan County Lane Closures On US 550 – June 6
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues bridge rehabilitation work on US 550 at mile marker 150.850 at the San Juan River Bridge in Bloomfield. On June 6, 2016, the US 550 traffic will be switched from the southbound lanes to the northbound lanes. The US 550 southbound and northbound lanes will be reduced to one lane from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Read more...

06/06/16 - I-25 / NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange Paving Operations Lane Closures on NM 14 – June 6-7
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues construction on the I-25/NM14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange located south of Santa Fe. On Monday, June 6 –7, 2016, the NM 14 lanes will be reduced to one lane for paving operations. There will be heavy truck traffic and a flagging operation guiding traffic through on NM 14. 06/03/16 - I-25 / NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) I-25 Lane Closures – June 3
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues construction on the I-25/NM14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange located south of Santa Fe. On Friday, June 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the I-25 southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane for paving operations. I-25 northbound lanes will be reduced from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for striping operations. I-25 northbound traffic will be switched over to the newly built northbound bridge late this afternoon. 06/02/16 - Bridgework Scheduled on Washington Bridge over I-40
Albuquerque, NM—The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District Three and RAM Construction will perform bridgework on the Washington Bridge over I-40 beginning Friday, June 3, at 9 p.m. through Sunday, June 6, at 5 a.m. resulting in a full closure of the bridge. Detours will be provided near the project area. Motorists should seek alternate route. Inclement weather could cause delays because of the curing process required for material to set. The bridge may re-open prior to Monday if crews are able to complete the work early. Read more...

06/02/16 - NMDOT Announces Upcoming Closure Of NM 14 (Beckner Road to Rancho Viejo) June 3-5
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues construction on the I-25/NM14 (Cerrillos Road) Diverging Diamond Interchange located south of Santa Fe. FNF Construction will be working on bridge demolition and paving. There will be a complete CLOSURE of NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) starting on Friday, June 3 at 9:00 p.m. until Monday, June 6 at 6:00 a.m. NM 14 (Cerrillos Road) will be CLOSED from Beckner Road to Rancho Viejo. I-25 Exit 278 (Cerrillos Road) will also be CLOSED during this time. Traffic can use Exit 276 (NM 599) to access either the I-25 West Frontage Road or NM 14 (Cerrillos Road). Read more...

05/27/16 - NMDOT Reminds Drivers to Buckle Up During Memorial Day Weekend
Santa Fe, NM – Today the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) announced the beginning of the annual Click It or Ticket Mobilization campaign, which runs from May 23 – June 5. During this time, there will be television and radio spots running throughout the state to make drivers aware of the stepped up seat belt enforcement efforts that will take place during this time period. Las Cruces: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Wednesday, June1, 2016: White Sands Missile Range announces the following roadblock information for Highway 70: Highway 70 will be blocked Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 12:10 p.m. for approximately one hour. The roadblocks are located at Red (top of St. Augustin Pass - mile marker 164) and Yellow (White Sands National Monument - mile marker 200). Read more...

05/15/16 - NMDOT Announces Upcoming Paving Operations US 64 Farmington to Bloomfield To Begin May 16
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues roadway reconstruction work on US 64 from mile maker 57.87 to mile marker 60.00 between Farmington and Bloomfield. Mountain States Constructor’s Inc. will begin paving operations. Starting May 16 – 31, 2016, traffic entering onto US 64 from the north side will be temporarily stopped until asphalt reaches adequate temperature for safe driving. Read more...

05/11/16 - I-40 Bridge Work East of Clines Corners – Night Closures To Begin May 11
Santa Fe–The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) continues bridge work on I-40 from mile marker 233.705 to mile marker 239.428 east of Clines Corners. The contractor, Mountain States Constructors Inc., will begin bridge demolition at the I-40/Flying C Ranch Bridge located on I-40 at mile marker 234.
